The most modern ball sports hall in Austria is currently under construction in Graz. And we at Standworks/Elan will design, plan, manufacture and install the retractable seating systems.
At a construction cost of € 18,000,000, the arena that is being built in Graz/Hüttenbrennergasse seats 3,000 spectators and is open to all international competitions.
The hall is especially designed for basketball, volleyball and handball.
A division into 10 telescope grandstand blocks enables various seating constellations depending on the type of event. Such flexibility ensures a proper layout of an arena or hall for every type of sport and event size as well as the right number of seats. Standworks/ELAN will hand over the finished retractable seating systems to the client at the beginning of August.
ELAN has made a customer happy once again. The Olympiahalle in Innsbruck has received 12 brand new grandstand blocks as an early Christmas present and now has flexible blocks for all occasions. These mobile TransFlex retractable seating systems have space for 588 visitors.

The Maag Concert Hall in Zurich is the interim venue of the famous Zurich Concert Hall Orchestra. Standworks ELAN has designed, manufactured and delivered the seating for the multifunctional parquet of this concert hall.
With a chair especially designed for this hall and a specially created fastening system on the parquet floor, the seating can be converted into different variants within a short time. A completely empty parquet without disturbing fixing screws is also possible. Nevertheless, the chairs meet the requirements of the building code, that is, they are permanently connected to the ground and have a folding seat to the prescribed passage width of min. 450mm guaranteed and meet the strict fire safety regulations for event halls. The design and color were done in close accordance with the planning architect Spillmann/Echsle architects.
